Humid with Scattered Showers/Storms Today
Hot Weather Returns for the End of the Week
A cold front will arrive this afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms becoming more widespread. Any storms could contain heavy rain and the potential for damaging wind gusts, especially towards the NY/PA border. Out ahead of this front it will be warm and humid with highs around 80. There will be clearing skies tonight with areas of fog late. It will be cooler with lows around 60.
High pressure will build overhead tomorrow with pleasant conditions. Highs will be in the upper 70s to around 80. Warmth and humidity will begin to build back in on Thursday with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Friday could be one of the hottest days we've seen this summer with highs well into the 80s. Another cold front will arrive towards the late afternoon and evening with a round of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
High pressure will return on Saturday with any showers ending and some clearing into the second half of the day. It will be noticeably cooler with highs in the lower 70s. This area of high pressure will remain in control into the beginning of next week.
Have a great day!
