Detroit 35, Bills 13

  • Text size: + -

The Bills finished off the preseason with a dud against Detroit.

Rookie QB Jeff Tuel, who could be the Week One starter, did not play. Recently-signed Matt Leinart got the call instead. Leinart joined the team last weekend with the injuries to Kevin Kolb and EJ Manuel.

It was hard to expect much out of Leinart given the circumstances, but he went 3-10 for 11 yards and threw two interceptions.

The highlight of the night was a 79-yard touchdown reception by Marcus Easley, who's looked good in the preseason.

Bills lose 35-13. They'll have to trim down to 53 players by Saturday night. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
