It's hard to believe; Bills training camp is only a week away. The first practice of this year's camp is set for Sunday night - the 28th.
When the team gets back on the field, expect to see more from running back Fred Jackson. Around the football world, he's kind of being thought of as 'Buffalo's other running back.' And that makes some sense after the dynamic year C.J. Spiller had - in which he tied Adrian Peterson for the NFL's running back lead at six yards per carry.
But it's important to remember that Jackson owned the same distinction in 2011 - racking up 934 yards in 10 games before an injury cut the year short.
"I'm 100 percent ready to go, looking forward to camp this year," Jackson said. "You don't get a lot of people to say that, but these last two seasons being cut short by injuries is driving me crazy. I'm excited to get back out there and hit the ground running."
