Two days of voluntary mini-camp are in the books, and Stevie Johnson has been out for both sessions. He called the injury a back strain, suffered in warmups before Tuesday's opening practice.
The veteran receiver said he's day-to-day, but didn't rule himself out for Thursday's last day of camp.
Johnson caught 79 passes for just over 1,000 yards last year, despite spending much of the year with a groin injury. While he says this one's not as serious, it's still frustrating.
"It's very disappointing to the point I'm out here watching the guys have fun running around, but not too much, like too serious like my groin was. So I'm not too frustrated, but seing the guys running around is the thing I'm pretty mad about," Johnson said.
