For a rookie to cover 80 yards with no timeouts didn't seem plausible, but the player who so far doesn't seem to get rattled showed us that it could be done.
The Bills' EJ Manuel became just the 5th quarterback since 1960 to engineer a 4th quarter comeback in the first or second game of his rookie season.
"That just shows you that he's ready to be the guy for us. We're ready to put all this on his shoulders, and when given that opportunity to win a game, he's going to do everything he can to get it done. Guys are behind him. We're going to do everything we can to help him. It's on us to be there when he needs us. We're going to do whatever we can to make his job easier and he's going come to battle for us too," said running back Fred Jackson.
"I like when he gets real excited when he throws touchdowns, and he doesn't get too down when he throws picks. That's a good trait for a quarterback. It obviously burns him when he makes a mistake, but you don't see him multiplying the mistakes and he's coming back firing," said center Eric Wood.
