No time to dwell on last night's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes, the Sabres right back at it with the back-half of the home-and-home with Carolina. YNN's Andy Young is at First Niagara Center with a preview.

It's a quick turnaround for the Blue and Gold coming off their first loss of the season, but a chance at some redemption tonight with the Hurricanes in town.

The Sabres were back out on the ice Friday morning at First Niagara Center, trying to work out a few kinks. They struggled a bit with puck possession and giveaways in last night's loss.

They also want to improve on the power play, where they failed to score the past two games despite multiple opportunities with the man advantage.

"We don't want to panic. We don't want to sit here and be sorry for ourselves. We know what we have to do to be better and its just about going out there and doing it," said captain Jason Pominville. "I think whether it's our power play or our five-on-five play, it's just being smarter, making better decisions with the puck, and if you have nothing most times the simple play is the better play."

The line of Vanek, Hodgson, and Pominville been great through the first three games, accounting for 8 of the team's 10 goals, but they'll really need to see some spark from other places; particularly the line of Ennis, Foligno, and Stafford, which has yet to produce a a goal.

Jhonas Enroth took the loss in net last night. Ryan Miller is expected to be back in goal tonight for Buffalo.

It's a 7 o'clock face off at First Niagara Center as the Sabres look to bounce back from their first setback of the year.
