CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. — Chautauqua County Executive Greg Edwards will begin the next chapter of his career a little early. Edwards will take over as CEO of Jamestown's Gebbie Foundation as of Nov. 15.

The Busti Republican will appoint an interim County Executive to hold the office until the newly elected County Executive takes over Jan. 1, 2014.

Edwards says he's excited to take over Gebbie. The development organization is dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Jamestown through investments in community and economic development initiatives.

Edwards was elected County Executive in 2005. He ran as Carl Paladino's Lt. Governor Candidate in 2010. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
