BUFFALO, NY--Tens of thousands of people gave love a bad name Sunday night in Buffalo.
Bon Jovi played a sold-out show at the First Niagara Center as part of the band's "Because We Can" world tour.
The tour is named after the band's latest single from the album "What About Now". The group played several songs from that album, as well as all of its greatest hits.
The new album will be in stores March 12th.
Earlier Sunday afternoon, six students from Canisius College stole the show at First Niagara Center.
They were given a behind-the-scenes look at Bon Jovi's concert. The students were chosen as part of Bon Jovi's "Community Service College Campaign."
Members of the band's touring group showed the students what goes into producing a major concert. The group watched a sound check, decorated a VIP room and watched crews organize equipment. One student said she was amazed at the work that goes into the production.
"You see what happens on stage, especially with Bon Jovi and huge tours like that. But it takes a small village it seems like to put this tour together", said Mariel Klein, a Canisius College senior.
The students were chosen because of their volunteer efforts in the community.
