BUFFALO, N.Y. — Shea's Performing Arts Center cruised to a night of food, drinks and fun Saturday evening all to benefit the ongoing restoration of the historic Buffalo theater.

Hundreds of people, some even dressed as television characters, came aboard the "S.S. Shea's" for the theater's fundraiser, which featured live music, wine and food tasting, and games.

Shea's representatives say the event is a great way for the community to come together to enjoy a local landmark.

Shea's Public Relations director Lisa Grisanti said, "It supports our mission, which is to restore this historic building for future generations to enjoy so that we're still here ten years from now, twenty years from now, fifty years from now."

The theater will host several other fundraisers throughout the year to benefit their restoration, with the next one coming in the fall. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
