Elmira man charged in Cattaraugus County break-in and assault

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. — State Police have arrested a man suspected of breaking into a Cattaraugus County home and assaulting a man inside.

Police say 26-year-old Anthony Eames of Elmira and three other men allegedly broke into a house in Conewango on November 23rd.

After assaulting a person inside, they allegedly stole three rifles, a shotgun, and a cell phone.

Police are still looking for three other men involved in the home invasion that are believed to be from the Elmira area.
