NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Harley lovers gave Christmas presents to the children from New Directions' Wyndham Lawn Home in Lockport.
Children received a Nintendo Wii and several games and accessories to go with it. The event is in its 26th year, and the Harley Owners Group's director says it's a great way to provide a fun and exciting holiday experience to children who wouldn't normally have one.
"They don't have a Christmas like we do," Group Director Jack Gorman said. "Some can't leave this area. Some of their parents might not be able to come by and give them anything. So we stop by to give them something and give them some kind of Christmas," he said.
The New Directions' Wyndham Lawn Home provides emotional support to at-risk children and teenagers.
