BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills are spreading the warmth this holiday season.
Fifty children from the Salvation Army joined the Bills Tuesday evening to raise awareness for their "Gift of Warmth" campaign.
The campaign stresses that people donate jackets, gloves, hats, and other winter gear to the least fortunate among us. Players say that giving back to the community during the holidays helps them feel a sense of accomplishment.
Bills Safety Da'Norris Searcy said, "God has blessed me to do these things, so I want to be able to give back, and to give back to people in the community. It'll make me feel good knowing that I've helped a family out or helped a child out this holiday season."
You can donate to the "Gift of Warmth" campaign by dropping off winter clothing at your local M&T Bank, or at Sunday's Bills game.
