WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. —Mayor Brian Kulpa held Williamsville's first ever State of the Village Address Monday evening to discuss projects for the coming year.

A main point of discussion was the future of the Williamsville water mill, a historical village landmark that was built 1811. The village determined the mill will be preserved, and renovations have been done to the structure.

Kulpa says the landmark will remain a viable part of the historic village.

"It's going to be in private hands, it's going to return to the tax rolls. we're going to have businesses down there, some in-fill development, and we're going to see private sector development in what's been sitting down there as a public vacancy for a while," Kulpa said.

The mayor and Village Board will meet with the developer to further discuss potential uses for the mill December 19th. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
