Police say chase suspect damaged several vehicles

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Police have arrested a man they say damaged several vehicles while running from police chase.

Willie Holcomb, 49, of Buffalo has been charged with criminal possession of stolen property, reckless driving, resisting arrest and other charges.

Around 2 a.m. Monday, police say Holcomb failed to stop at a stop sign near Grant Street and Hampshire. Police determined the vehicle was stolen and chased him.

According to police, he turned onto Breckenridge Avenue and damaged as many as 10 vehicles between the 500 and 600 block. Holcomb then hit a light pole and ran away. He was caught on Ashland Avenue. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
