If you love spinning but miss your ab workout, you can get both if you get on a Real Ryder. In this edition of Healthy Living, YNN's Marcie Fraser tells us about a full body workout class.

If you love spinning but miss your ab workout, you can get both if you get on a Real Ryder.

Tom Murphy said, "It's natural and you feel like you are working your entire body, and as you can see, I am sweating and I got a great workout."

It's not Tom Murphy's first spinning class, but it is his first class on a bike called Real Ryder. It's a high-tech bike that fully engages the body for total body results. You can steer it, lean on it, and move the bike under you engaging more upper body and core.

Vicki Nye-Cordi of Saratoga Core Fitness said, "You are also doing endurance by climbing those hills, you are working the whole upper body, not just lung activity of cycling but you are engaging those core muscles using your shoulders, using chest, arms, biceps, the whole body is moving."

"You are moving both ways," said Murphy. "The bike is moving just like you on the road riding."

Nye-Cordi said, "When you are moving in that lateral pattern, side to side, you are engaging abs and upper body."

Linda Ballestero said, "My arms are better than they were before. Just the feel of it, back and forth, it's not rigid. It's nice to have more movement, to go back and forth."

The classes are about an hour long.

If you are looking to hit your hamstrings, though not required, you can go out and buy cycling shoes. They have clips on the bottom. They clip into the pedal and you rotate 100 percent of the work, the entire time.

When you are using cycling shoes that are clipped in, the entire leg gets worked out.

Murphy said, "It feels more comfortable. It's a better experience, a full workout."

Ballestero said, "I love these bikes, they are awesome."
